I absolutely adored this story. Skye and Cole's relationship was so sweet! I loved their banter, and how he cared for her and her doubts about their relationship. There were so many standout moments throughout the novel, including lots of scorching chemistry and lovely secondary characters. Hero and heroine were well-developed, and I found them super easy to fall in love with. Overall, it was an excellent start to a great series that I would recommend for any fan of the enemies-to-lovers trope!
2. You Deserve Each Other by Sarah Hogle
Naomi Westfield and Nicholas Rose are set to marry in three months. On the outside, everything seems perfect. But on the inside, they're both looking for an out. The couple's decided whoever ends the relationship foots the bill for the wedding, so they've decided to go the only route possible.
Prank each other until one of them has had enough.
Despite the chaos surrounding them, they somehow find a glimpse of what was there in the first place. Could their love truly be something worth fighting for?

This novel was so much fun! Though I wanted to throttle each of the characters sometimes for infuriatingly oblivious they could be, it was so wonderful to watch them find their way back to each other.
I love this different take on the enemies-to-lovers trope and how they already know each other so well, yet at times, they seem to know nothing at all. It's definitely a great read to pick up if you're looking for a fresh take on the classic trope!
3. Twisted Hate by Ana Huang
Josh Chen and Jules Ambrose have hated each other since the day they met. She was Josh's sisters party girl best friend, always getting her into trouble. And he was the asshole who so rudely judged her.
Now, Jules has one goal, and that's passing the bar exam. She can't risk a distraction right now, yet somehow, Josh becomes the one person she can't stop thinking about. An unforgettable night morphs into a strange angreement between the pair. A purley sexual relationship. No strings attached. But they soon realise that there's more to each other than what meets the eye.
Soon their pasts are about to catch up with them, which begs the question. Will their secrets destroy them, or save them in the end?
I absolutely loved this installment of the Twisted series. The chemistry between Jules and Josh was to die for, and I loved getting to more of the friendship dynamic between Jules and her friend group. Ana Huang's ability to write swoon-worthy and hilarious one-liners is impressive beyond belief. If you're looking for a steamy, swoon-worthy, enemies-to-lovers, Twisted Hate is definitely the book for you.
4. It Happened One Summer by Tessa Bailey
When Beverley Hills socialite Piper Ballinger ends up in jail after a wild rooftop party, her uber-rich stepfather decides she needs a change of pace. And what better to do than revive her late father's dive bar in his hometown of Westport, Washington?
Piper is at odds with fisherman Brendan Taggart from the day she arrives. He underestimates her. And she's determined to prove him wrong. But as Piper starts reconnecting with her past and feeling more at home in Westport, she begins to wonder if LA is right for her after all. Not to mention there's an undeniable attraction between her and the man she was convinced hated her so much.
Piper finally realizes there might be more to life than she had thought. But circumstances don't always allow for smooth sailing.

It Happened One Summer includes some of the best love confessions and swoon-worthy moments I have ever read in a romance novel. I'm obsessed with Brendan Taggart and found Piper to be such a loveable main character. The story tackles many serious concepts, such as Brendan being a widower and Piper's reconnection to her late father's past. Still, it is incredibly witty and hilarious at the same time. The couple's progression from enemies to lovers was also executed exceptionally well. There are so many heated moments I repeatedly read without ever tiring of them.
I recommend everyone give this novel a read, as it is one of my all-time favorites of 2022!
5. Say Yes to the Boss by Olivia Hayle
Cecilia has been wanting to quit her assistant job for ages. Her boss can hardly remember her name, never mind remembering to treat her with an ounce of respect. But when he strikes her a deal, one year of marriage in exchange for helping her launch her business, she knows it's an offer she can't afford to pass up.
But living with Victor St. Clair is harder than she'd ever imagined. Cecilia soon discovers there is more to him than she ever thought. But what happens when she grows accustomed to wearing Victor's ring on her finger?
Dying to know how it ends? Read Say Yes to the Boss by Olivia Hayle!
Anyone who knows me is definitely not surprised to see another Olivia Hayle novel on this list. I've read through just about her entire catalog, and I have never been left disappointed.
Say Yes to the Boss was a delicious marriage of convenience read with a hero who I learned to love right along with the heroine. I highly recommend this book for fans of the enemies-to-lovers trope, along with the rest of the New York Billionaire series!
